Sure we are of a great culture, but how united are we over here in Mauritius...Some of our people do not even believe in our thousands years old culture and rites and critise us...Our beuatiful girls and boys leave our culture to enter some other one's saying its too hard "pou garde careme" or that the tamil youngsters are more that beautiful...Let's be sincere, sure to fast is difficults, but that's the objective, to be difficult. Sure to follow our culture is dificult, but it has survive for more than 5 thousand years. We have the best mathematicians in the entire world, we can read the stars and planet and this has been our cultural practice for numerous centuries. Our astrology is by far the most accurate and complete but still some among us still think that there is some better religion and culture out there. I believe that these people, if they have not found peace being tamil, they will never find it.
Lets be proud of being Tamils and live up to the standard of our culture and tradition.

Well said Nessen, from what you said, I think that re-structuring our organisation would be urgent in the coming years...But how to do it?? Education, Valeurs Humain, Sports(as our ancesters was practicing Kallaripayattu)and a specific place to meet i.e once weekly (the Kovel yard)after the prayers just for 30 mins, to know what's is going on!!
